Bathroom Remodel — Camarillo

Overview:
This Camarillo homeowner had two bathrooms that hadn't been touched since the home was built in the late 1980s. Both were functional but completely dated — original tile, builder-grade vanities, and fixtures that had seen better days. They wanted both done at the same time to minimize disruption and get the full transformation in a single project.
The master bathroom received a complete gut-out and full remodel. We demoed everything down to the studs, waterproofed the shower walls, and built a large walk-in shower with a frameless glass enclosure. The shower tile is a 24x48 large-format porcelain in a matte gray finish, set in a stacked vertical pattern. A niche was built into the back wall for storage. We installed a double vanity with solid wood cabinets, a Carrara quartz top, and two undermount sinks with matte black fixtures throughout. The floor received 12x24 porcelain tile in a warm white to brighten the space.
The guest bathroom received new 12x24 wall tile in the shower, a new single vanity, updated fixtures, and a new toilet. Both bathrooms were completed within the same 3-week window with the master taking the lead week and the guest bathroom finishing in parallel.
Both projects came in on schedule and within the quoted budget. The homeowner described the master bathroom as “unrecognizable in the best possible way.”
